We are a team of dedicated, professional staff providing quality care with a personal touch. We provide individualized, personalized, medical, nursing; social and rehabilitative services to patients who do not require inpatient care in a hospital or extended care facility.

All admissions are under direct order of the patient's physician.

RiverBend Home Health believes health to be more than the absence of disease. We view health care with a holistic approach; caring for the physical, mental, social and spiritual aspects of the person. We will strive to provide quality, comprehensive and innovative home health services.

What can you do for me?
You may need Home Health Care after an illness, hospitalization, new diagnosis or medication change. We can provide quality health care in the privacy and comfort of your own home.

Who will be coming to my home?
Professional, qualified staff will provide care under the direction of your physician.

What will this service cost me?
We bill Medicare and Private Insurance companies for Home Health Services. Private insurances vary in the coverage they offer; we will verify coverage and inform you of these prior to the initiation of care.

What if I don't live in Smithville?
We cover a large service area including Bastrop, Fayette Lee and Caldwell counties.

How do I get Home Health Care?
Call your doctor. If he/she feels you are an appropriate candidate for homecare he/she will notify us. Be sure to specify RiverBend Home Health.
